Jon Day is currently the Assistant Director for Workforce at Social Care Wales has over 30 years’ experience in health and social care with his early years spent in learning disability services in both the health and voluntary sector.
More latterly Jon’s roles have been in education, training and human resources and he also acted as an advisor to Learning Disability Wales a few years ago.
Jon is married with 2 grown up children and whilst born in Cardiff has lived in Neath for over 30 years but is still a committed Cardiff City fan.
Jon says “I am excited by the opportunity to work with such a fantastic organisation and hopefully contribute to improving the lives of people with a learning disability. It is an absolute privilege to be in this role that I will make every effort to meet the expectations placed on me”
