Digital technology shapes how we connect, learn, work, and make choices every day. For people with a learning disability, it can open new doors to independence and communication, but only when design, ethics, and accessibility are done well.
Digital Lives, Learning Disability Wales’s Annual Conference 2026, will explore how digital tools from everyday apps to artificial intelligence can strengthen choice, voice, and control for people with a learning disability.
The event will look honestly at challenges such as digital exclusion, inaccessible systems, and ethical concerns, while celebrating the creativity and opportunities technology can offer.

Standard ticket – £135 (Member price £118)
Tickets at the standard rate for anyone who does not qualify for a discounted ticket; see below.
Small organisation – £92 (Member price £81)
Tickets for organisations with an annual income of less than £1 Million.
Person with a learning disability – £33 (Member price £28.80)
Tickets for anyone with a learning disability.
Parent or other unpaid carer – £33 (Member price £28.80)
Tickets for anyone who is an unpaid carer for someone who has a learning disability.
Student – £33 (Member price £28.80)
Tickets for anyone enrolled on a full-time health or social care course.
Support – £ FREE
Tickets for anyone providing care or support to a person with a learning disability who could not attend without care or support.
These tickets are only available for those accompanying a paying guest with a learning disability ticket.
