Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council – Easy Read Youth Engagement Strategy 2024 to 2034

We worked with Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council to create an Easy Read version of their strategy.
This Easy Read document is about their Youth Engagement Strategy for 2024 to 2034. The strategy aims to support young people by improving their access to education, mental health resources, and essential services. It focuses on helping young people transition into adulthood successfully.
The plan was created with input from young people and organisations, highlighting key issues like mental health, lack of support, and limited opportunities. It aims to bring services together, help young people stay in education or work, and prevent homelessness.
The strategy also sets five main goals: identifying at-risk young people early, improving services working together, ensuring effective support, creating job and training opportunities, and having strong leadership.
We also made a Welsh Easy Read version of the strategy. Both versions are digitally accessible for screen readers and assistive technology.
