Health Education Improvement Wales – Easy Read Genomics Strategic Workforce Plan

We worked with Health Education Improvement Wales and Genomics Partnership Wales to make an Easy Read version of their Genomics Strategic Workforce Plan for Wales.
Genomics is the study of how genes work and how they affect health. Genomics improves healthcare by diagnosing diseases, offering better treatments, and preventing health issues.
The plan outlines how Wales will train and support enough workers to deliver genomic services from 2025 to 2028. The document highlights the importance of teamwork, education, and future planning to grow genomic services in Wales.
The plan includes actions focussing on supporting staff, using technology, and expanding services. The aim is for better treatment, diagnosis, and disease prevention for patients in Wales.
We also made a Welsh Easy Read version of the booklet. Both are digitally accessible for screen readers and assistive technology users.
