2024 has been a year of growth and impact for Easy Read Wales. Our accessible information team completed over 140 Easy Read projects for clients across Wales and the UK, covering all aspects of life – from supporting people with their health, to accessing project funding.
In 2024, Easy Read Wales also launched 2 free resources:
- Your Easy Read Guide to the General Election – supporting people to use their right to vote,
- Ask for Easy Read booklet – helping people to understand, value, and request Easy Read materials.
Other highlights included:
- Being asked to join an expert panel for a UK Government webinar, which supports government employees to make communications about debt accessible.
- Easy Read Wales becoming members of UK and International Easy Read Standards working groups. These groups share best practice and develop guides to help improve the quality of easy read across the world.
Our team’s recent Easy Read work has included:
- Welsh Government – Day and respite opportunities survey (the consultation closes on 19 February 2025)
