Leonard Cheshire asked us to make an Easy Read version of their toolkit to help disabled people start and run their own citizen panel.

Leonard Cheshire help disabled people to live, learn and work on their own as much they want to.

The toolkit can help you and other disability campaigners start your own citizen panel where you can provide a voice for disabled people in your community.

The toolkit covers many topics including: starting a citizen panel, campaigning, fundraising, talking to stakeholders, running events and more. This comprehensive guide can be used as a long-term reference.

We also made a Welsh Easy Read version of the toolkit. Both toolkits are digitally accessible for screen readers and other assistive technology.
