NHS Wales – The Duty of Candour – Easy Read

NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership asked us to make an Easy Read version of their guide for Wales about the Duty of Candour.

The Duty of Candour means that health and care professionals must tell you, or someone acting on your behalf, when harm is caused. NHS organisations in Wales must be open and honest about the care and treatment you get.

The guide explains what the Duty of Candour is, how it applies in different situations and what NHS Wales must do.

We also made a Welsh Easy Read version of the guide and a version that can be edited to be used in each specific health board.

All the guides are digitally accessible for screen readers and other assistive technology.
